IN THE NEWS

Part of our mission at Alaska Zipline Adventures is to be a positive influence in the community, whether that means helping local non-profit groups get out zipping or hosting fundraisers for great causes both near and far. Some of the local groups we have worked with include SAIL (Southeast Alaska Independent Living), Big Brothers Big Sisters, AWARE (Aiding Women in Abuse and Rape Emergencies), and Discovery Southeast. In 2010 we organized and hosted Juneau Water Fest, raising funds to build a well to bring clean drinking water to over 250 people in the village of Baekel, Ethiopia. In 2012 we put on Mountain Zip Fest, raising over $7,000 for Discovery Southeast, a local non-profit organization that helps children in Juneau access and learn about the amazing wilderness right outside their doorstep.
